Boxer Johnny Bradfield (John Garfield) ends up fleeing to Arizona because he thinks that he comitted a murder while he was drinking. He stays at a ranch that is run by Goldie (Ann Sheirdan) and by her mother who is very feisty. The film was released in 1939.
